Dual Progressive nomex spiders with stitched flat wound tinsel leads connect to oversized push terminals.

8” Shield subwoofers use a 2.5” 4 layer high temp copper wound while the voice coil.

Shield 8” have a motor structure that consists of a 2 layer Y35 ferrite magnet that measures 5.75” in diameter by 1” thick per slug.

Review update “BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK”

Finally took the time to build my new box after using the Skar box as a test run… All I can say is HOLY FREAKING SH!T!!! These Shield subs have re-impressed me once again!! Switched my amp over to the Ruthless 2300.1 wired to 1/2 ohm that Bobby personally convinced me to switch to. Man do things bang! Blew my cabin filters out of the back of the cab in the 1st 10 15 seconds of E-40 life lessons. Going to build another box to change a few things and toss this box in another 1 of our work trucks in the next few months. I’m sure that the next box with a few tweaks will even shock me more. Once that happens I’ll order 4 more of the same. Going to build a box for the wife’s bronco and run the same subs but 3 of the 2ohm and whatever amp Bobby says!! GATELY ALL THE WAY!!!

2 Shield 8’s

I got 2 of the shield 8’s for my truck and i am running about 600 to 650 watts to each and these things hit like a truck they have both of my mirrors shaking. Would highly recommend

BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK!!!

I had a quad 8" Skar box and 4 Sundown 8's firing downward that we put in my work truck a 2024 Chevrolet 2500HD single cab running off a Sundown SIA 1750 wired to 1 ohm. It was nice, but did not do what I expected. So I bought 4 of the Gately Sheilds swapped them over and put in a Sundown SFB-3000D amp on them. Man do they sound great and hit way harder. Now I am going to build a new box out of Birch plywood but increase the size to get these suckers some more air space and a bigger port. I think the new box will make an even bigger improvement! From here on out I am only buying Gately subs for my vehicles.
