Gately - Alpha 6.5" V2 Subwoofer

When I ordered the Gately Audio Alpha 6.5 V2 subwoofers, it was actually by accident. Normally, I get the Relentless 6.5" subs, which have always been my go-to for extreme bass— basically, it's a "rip your face off." type of bass. Customers love them, and I only get occasional feedback that they have too much bass (if that's even possible). However, due to the high cost of shipping subs back, I ended up keeping the Alphas and decided to install them in my personal truck.

I am beyond happy I did.

The Alpha V2's were an unexpected surprise in the best way. The deep, rich bass they produce caught me off guard. I wasn’t expecting this level of performance from a sub with a smaller footprint and less power-hungry specs. The sound quality is nothing short of fantastic, delivering the kind of depth that fills out the low end of the system and helps the mid-bass come more from the front smoothly.

While the Relentless subs will always be my top choice for those looking to go all-out with insane power and bass, the Alpha V2 has quickly become my new favorite for applications where you might not have the space or budget for huge power but still demand excellent low-end responses. It’s perfect for builds where the depth of the sub enclosure is limited, like when you don’t have the 6" (5.98") depth needed for the Relentless 6.5" or you don't have quite the funds for huge wattage power or don't want to upgrade your electrical system to support that huge power amp correctly.

In short, I’m ecstatic to have found another GO-TO subwoofer (from a Great Company) that performs so well and provides more flexibility in my installs. The Alpha V2 is an excellent option in my lineup for customers who need great bass but aren’t necessarily looking for the “rip your face off” experience.
